I'm Lori Strong. Aside from being a mom to two Strong Sleepers, I'm a Certified Child Sleep Consultant and the owner of Strong Little Sleepers. Are you just going to tell me to let my baby cry it out?
I get this question all of the time. We'll talk about crying, and I can't guarantee your baby won't cry at all (is your baby crying right now?). We won't even touch crying and sleep training methods until the final module (that's how important all of the other modules are!), but we will discuss options that offer you a chance to work with lower cry methods. No method is truly "no cry". By implementing all of these modules and not just starting with a "method" you will have the best shot at your baby crying as little as possible. I'm not going to tell you to pick one method; I'm going to give you an overview of the four main sleep training methods, break them down for you, and then let you and your family decide which is best for you. One thing that is not included in this course is judgment on what is right for your family.
I've tried sleep training before and it didn't work.
Yep, I've heard this before as well. Chances are you didn't have a plan and you didn't address all of the necessary elements of quality sleep. And if you did, somewhere along the way, you stopped. We'll address all of that too. That's why the workbook is so important because it will help you create a plan you can stick with!
Won't all of this sleep stuff just get figured out on its own?
Great question. If you have a newborn, it's very possible you can put some healthy sleep habits into place with very little work on your own. It's also possible things may be great for a few months and then get off track around the four month mark. This course is great for new parents to prepare their baby for healthy sleep from the start. It's like packing that umbrella for your beach vacation; you hope you won't need it, but you often regret not having it if you don't pack it.
Do you offer refunds if I decide I don't want to finish the modules?
There are no refunds for this course. You do have lifetime access, though, so if now is not the right time to complete this course for whatever reason, you can come back to it at another point! And if I ever make updates to the course, you'll have access to the newer version.
How will I access the course and workbook?
Once you purchase the course you will be emailed a login and password. Then you'll be able to access the videos and downloads any time you want.

What if I have questions after taking the course?

People have been having babies forever; why on earth do we need a course about sleep?
There used to be a time when people lived near their families and had around the clock support. If you have that type of family situation, you may not need this course. Most of us are not lucky enough to live with family and get help at 3 in the morning, not to mention that there has been so much research done on sleep in the past twenty years alone! We know so much more than we did before! Why wouldn't we want to help our babies sleep better? Sleep is essential!
This course is for babies 0-12 months. I have child older than 12 months. Do you have a course for older babies and toddlers?
