When you have a baby, everyone tells you how you'll never sleep again. You may have thought, "That will never happen to me! I can sleep anywhere, anytime, so my baby will too."
Then reality sets in. Your adorable baby arrives. And nobody is getting any sleep.
But it feels okay. It's only been a few weeks. Surely, it will get better with time. After all, things are new. And of course, you're blessed and lucky to be on this journey, so who are you to complain about being tired?
You find yourself saying this week after week, maybe month after month, and you're beginning to wonder if you'll ever sleep again. Your baby is fussy, she needs to be rocked a lot, but she doesn't fall asleep easily. She also eats to fall asleep, but then she wakes up immediately upon being put down. This goes on all night long. Sleep when the baby sleeps? How can you do that when you baby sleeps for 20 minutes at a time?
Your caffeine intake is getting higher, and your ability to remember things and feel like you can function well is getting much, much lower. Sometimes you wonder if you should get behind the wheel of a car.
You've tried googling baby sleep and come up with 234 million ways to help your baby. You ask your fellow mamas on social media and everyone has an opinion. There is a lot of "you should do this" and "don't do this" thrown around. You've even tried to read a few books, but can't keep your eyes open when you do. It's overwhelming and you feel like a terrible parent who is doing something wrong.
There is hope! You can figure this out! I can help!
I'm Lori Strong. Aside from being a mom to two Strong Sleepers, I'm a Certified Child Sleep Consultant and the owner of Strong Little Sleepers. For over eight years, I've supported hundreds of families as they take the steps to teach their children to sleep better. Now, I want to help you and invite you to join me in Strong Sleep School.
Our first course is Strong Sleepers: Baby.
During this course, you'll learn about baby sleep through the STRONG™ Sleep System. This course will walk you through 6 modules to give you strategies to implement to get your baby more sleep:
- setting up a Safe Sleep environment
- Learn about the best timing for sleep
- routines that work to help prep your baby for sleep
- organize feedings and your day
- naps and how to improve them
- giving space for self-soothing
You'll also be given a workbook to complete as you are moving through the modules. This will allow you to create a customized sleep plan for your family. Once you have your sleep plan in place, you'll be able to begin implementing changes with confidence! And before you know it, better sleep will be a part of your daily routine!
STRONG Sleepers: Baby is for you if:
- you have a baby 0-12 months old (or you are an expecting parent and want to prep before baby arrives)
- you're needing to rely on rocking your baby to sleep only to have him wake up instantly upon being put down in the crib
- your baby falls asleep easily, but needs to nurse ALL NIGHT LONG to go back to sleep
- you didn't get an invitation to the party at 2 AM, but there seems to be one every night
- naps are short or non-existent in your house-- 30-45 minutes if you're lucky
- you feel defeated as a parent and you're always looking to the internet for answers
- you'd love to be able to hear the voice of someone who has been there who is not your mother-in-law (in-laws can be great, but a nonjudgmental person is even better)-- someone who has helped over 500 families get better sleep.
In Strong Sleepers: Baby you will:
- move at your own pace through modules-- even at 2 am if you'd like!
- receive over 2 hours of information about sleep for your little one
- put a plan in place that has step by step instructions
- be able to get other caregivers on the same page when it comes to your baby's sleep
- feel confident you have a plan for positive change
- see the light on the horizon that sleep is possible for your family
Healthy Sleep is Priceless! I want to help you and your little one to achieve restful, healthy sleep. Your family deserves it because sleep deprivation is not a badge of honor that you have to wear.

Skeptical? Maybe you have one of these questions:
Are you just going to tell me to let my baby cry it out?
I get this question all of the time. We'll talk about crying, and I can't guarantee your baby won't cry at all (is your baby crying right now?). We won't even touch crying and sleep training methods until the final module (that's how important all of the other modules are!), but we will discuss options that offer you a chance to work with lower cry methods. No method is truly "no cry". By implementing all of these modules and not just starting with a "method" you will have the best shot at your baby crying as little as possible. I'm not going to tell you to pick one method; I'm going to give you an overview of the four main sleep training methods, break them down for you, and then let you and your family decide which is best for you. One thing that is not included in this course is judgment on what is right for your family.
I've tried sleep training before and it didn't work.
Yep, I've heard this before as well.Chances are you didn't have a plan and you didn't address all of the necessary elements of quality sleep. And if you did, somewhere along the way, you stopped. We'll address all of that too. That's why the workbook is so important because it will help you create a plan you can stick with!
Won't all of this sleep stuff just get figured out on its own?
Great question. If you have a newborn, it's very possible you can put some healthy sleep habits into place with very little work on your own. It's also possible things may be great for a few months and then get off track around the four month mark. This course is great for new parents to prepare their baby for healthy sleep from the start. It's like packing that umbrella for your beach vacation; you hope you won't need it, but you often regret not having it if you don't pack it.
Do you offer refunds if I decide I don't want to finish the modules?
There are no refunds for this course. You do have lifetime access, though, so if now is not the right time to complete this course for whatever reason, you can come back to it at another point! And if I ever make updates to the course, you'll have access to the newer version.
How will I access the course and workbook?
Once you purchase the course you will be emailed a login and password. Then you'll be able to access the videos and downloads any time you want.
Can you help me sleep better too?
We talk a little bit about this in the course as well :)
People have been having babies forever; why on earth do we need a course about sleep?
There used to be a time when people lived near their families and had around the clock support. If you have that type of family situation, you may not need this course. Most of us are not lucky enough to live with family and get help at 3 in the morning, not to mention that there has been so much research done on sleep in the past twenty years alone! We know so much more than we did before! Why wouldn't we want to help our babies sleep better? Sleep is essential!
This course is for babies 0-12 months. I have child older than 12 months. Do you have a course for older babies and toddlers?
Stay tuned! Strong Sleepers: Toddler will hopefully be available soon!
I've worked with Lori several times. The first time she helped me get my twins on a better sleep schedule and my daughter back in her crib. Since then we've added two more babies to our crew and I have reached out to her for refresher courses. She even helped ME sleep better!!! — Katie, Mom of 4
Lori has helped our family get better sleep for 3 years now. It all started at 11pm one night when our 8 month old was crying in his crib AGAIN and another night of never sleeping through the night in the books. I was exhausted, frustrated and desperate for help and googled “Baby Sleep Help” and found Lori’s page. She was an answer to our prayers. It was literally three days later and our son was sleeping through the night. When our second baby came I was not about to make the same mistake again and contacted Lori right away so we could start off on a better foot this time! As you know, babies are a lot of work and nothing is ever completely consistent but aside from when they are sick, our boys put themselves to sleep and sleep through the night every night in their own rooms and are good nappers. It took work, consistency and doing exactly as Lori instructed us to get where we are but it was so worth it to know they are getting the sleep they need for growth and development and we are getting the sleep we need to stay sane! I have always been so impressed with Lori and her program for being professional, realistic, caring and compassionate. Every family could use the support and advice that Lori offers. — Jenny, Mom of 2
My first baby was in the NICU for 53 days and came home on a scheduled so when Charlie came along it was like being new parents again. Thanks to Strong Little Sleepers online course, we were able to find a rhythm that suited his sleep style and he now sleeps consistently through the night and takes two solid naps during the day. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making it easy to consolidate what seems like a massive amount of reading into an easy to follow e-course. ❤️❤️ — Sara, Mom of 2
I want to commend you on the sleep course - you do a great job explaining things concisely and the real life examples are helpful. Your narration is clear and easy to listen to. What a relief to find a thorough, honest, expert source of information presented so clearly and objectively. Plus it's nice to have continuous access to the info to repeat parts because, you know, sleep and memory... Thanks so much for creating it! I'll recommend it highly to my mama friends! — Catherine, Mom of 1
